Last summer, I had a spontaneous idea about promoting up-and-coming Indonesian brands by bringing them to the states, and possibly make a small lookbook for them in my spare time. I talked about it with Bea and she ended up introducing me to the designer of Daradara a.k.a. her aunt, Lia. We talked for awhile, and she entrusted me with several pieces of her batik tutus.
After months of treading the chaotic waters of what we call 'art school', I was able to do a shoot with Kriztille, a petite friend of a friend who I've been wanting to work with for quite some time. You can click here to devour your eyes on her works as NYC-based emerging graphic designer.
